This section does not seem to start off. Perhaps we should consider dropping it, or actively start adding formats. --Mr.Mouse 05:29, 9 July 2007 (CDT)

I didn't even realize this page exists. :-) Anyway, it seems to me that the system proposed on this page (type separation on a single game page) does not match the one currently used, where each format is stored in its own Wiki entry.

However, we could list these single pages here ... --Deniz Oezmen 10:14, 13 August 2007 (CDT)

Indeed. I think the problem can be solved by correct use of page tags and clever tabling. This way you could create any table order (i.e. per game, platform, or file format). If a format page is tagged with "Game File" for instance, and with "Texture" and "Game Name", it should be possible to have this page list all those pages that have the Game File tag and sort by type or name. Correct, Dinoguy1000? --Mr.Mouse 03:24, 23 August 2007 (CDT)

Hmm... If I'm reading that right, it would be possible by importing Wikipedia's "sortable" class for tables, which uses JavaScript to allow sorting by table column. However, it could lead to some weird stuff when sorting by format, since all the formats for a given game are grouped together. The long-term solution would be the MediaWiki extension I've been fantasizing about for awhile now (one that someone will have to write). ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 16:31, 27 August 2007 (CDT)
